Ali Ghriskey, 27, is the Executive Chef of Pine & Polk and PS, a specialty provisions retail shop and secret cocktail bar, in New York City. Originally from Mount Kisco, Ali grew up with a love for baking and art, but ultimately chose a more savory route for her career path. After attending a culinary program in Ireland, she headed back to New York and started cooking professionally under the tutelage of some of the city’s top chefs including Tom Colicchio (Colicchio & Sons, Temple Court), Floyd Cardoz (The Bombay Bread Bar), and Missy Robbins (Lilia, Misi). In 2022, she joined the opening team at PS and Pine & Polk, where her menu is driven by her past experiences and knowledge, as well as her passion for connecting food to memories. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with her dog, Walter.
